The cooperation of FedHATTA with the Chinese Consulate in Athens is being upgraded, with the aim of strengthening the tourist flow to and from China, and improving the conditions and level of services provided.

In a meeting held on Tuesday, January 14, the President of FedHATTA, Lysandros Tsilidis, met with the Director of the Chinese Consulate and the Commercial Attaché, Guo Xiaoyu and Sun Mingyu, at the offices of the Federation in Athens. All the latest developments in the field of tourism were discussed, with a focus on the simplification and acceleration of visa procedures, which would significantly facilitate organized trips to China. The regular air connections of Juneyao Air and Air China also contribute significantly in this direction.

The two sides discussed the essential importance of promoting Chinese destinations in the Greek market, which are already being promoted by FedHATTA with initiatives to have regular and ongoing contact with delegations from Chinese regions.

Finally, proposals were submitted for the organization of events and meetings with the aim of enriching the programs of organized trips and attracting an audience with a broader framework of interests and activities, starting with the co-organization of events to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
