FedHATTA & HATTA claim a larger share of tourists from the Chinese market for Greece
With a dynamic mission of travel agencies, FedHATTA and HATTA will participate in the international tourism exhibition ITB China, organized on 27-29 May in Shanghai, a pivotal market for Greek tourism.
ITB China is the premier exhibition exclusively for B2B contacts, focused on the Chinese travel market, and brings together top and select buyers from China with tourism professionals from around the world. The Chinese market, which pre-pandemic was the largest outbound tourism market in the world, is in the process of full recovery, while an important factor in attracting more Chinese travelers to our country is the direct connection of Juneyao Air, Shanghai-Athens.
The president of FedHATTA, Lysandros Tsilidis, said: “The current situation is ideal for Greek travel agencies that are already active in the market of China and Southeast Asia to make contact with their counterparts in this market, which is returning to pre-pandemic rhythms and timelessly loves Greece as a tourist destination with an emphasis on cultural experiences. FedHATTA and HATTA keep their channels of communication open throughout the year with tourism delegations from China’s regions, and our participation in the exhibition will further contribute to strengthening our professional ties with counterparts in China’s organized tourism market, enhancing tourist flows from and to Greece.”
The president of HATTA, Nikolas Kelaiditis, emphasized: “Our tourism agencies, our members, are very well prepared to communicate the unrivalled brand of Greece to the tourism professionals of China and other countries that will be present at the powerful ITB China exhibition, at the same time expanding their business relations with the large tourist market of Asia.”
