In view of the new direct flight connection between Athens and Vilnius, started by Aegean Airlines in the spring, Lysandros Tsilidis, president of FedHATTA, met with the Ambassador of Lithuania in Greece, Lina Skerstonaitė, to discuss greater cooperation on mutual tourism promotion, through cooperation between tourism agencies.

Ambassador Skerstonaite presented an overview of the Lithuanian destinations of particular interest to visitors, and the discussion focused on ways to open communication channels between the associations of tourism agencies of the two countries in order to strengthen bilateral tourism.

As Mr. Tsilidis stated: “The Greek and Lithuanian associations of tourism agencies are already connected as members of ECTAA and cooperate, so our meeting with the Ambassador of Lithuania confirms that we will continue to have dynamic cooperation in the future.”
