FedHATTA had a productive meeting with a delegation from the Zhoushan Prefecture on behalf of China Zhejiang Tourism Group, the Chinese state tourism investment body, on Friday, September 6, at its offices in Athens. The purpose of the meeting was to explore the prospects of promoting marine tourism, within the framework of the “Hello Little Island” action and the “Starry Sea” project.

The representatives of the Zhoushan Islands were welcomed by the president of FedHATTA, Lysandros Tsilidis. The discussion focused on tourism project planning, the management of maritime destinations and their infrastructure, but also on finding ways for cooperation between the two countries in the promotion of maritime tourism.

The representatives of Zhoushan, an area with special beauty, marine environment and high tourist interest, emphasized that the ultimate goal of the project is the formation of an island tourist destination with travel interest that will meet conditions based on the project’s formulation.

The two sides exchanged their views and agreed to meet agin to discuss the matter at length. The delegation’s visit to Greece was organized by Elias Travel.
