FedHATTA/ HATTA: First WTAAA General Assembly and Board Meeting in Athens and Crete
Greece at the center of global tourism from November 6 to 11
Greece will be at the center of international tourism markets, with tour operators and travel agents from all over the world, on the occasion of the first general assembly and board meeting held in Greece by the WTAAA (World Travel Agents’ Associations Alliance), organized from 6 to 11 November 2024 in Athens and Crete. The meeting will highlight the prominent position of Greece among the leading organized tourism destinations worldwide. The organization of the meeting will be coordinated by FedHATTA and HATTA.
60 delegates are expected to attend the WTAAA general assembly and board meeting, as well as members of the presidencies of the WTAAA member associations, who represent the main outbound tourism markets in the world. In the framework of the meeting, events, excursions, parallel actions and presentations of GNTO, the South Aegean Region, the EATA of the Municipality of Athens, the Thessaloniki Tourism Promotion Organization and Aegean Airlines have been planned – with special promotion packages not only in the conference areas but also through the broadcast channels of WTAAA, ECTAA, FedHATTA and HATTA. At the same time, an important innovation for the Greek tourism market will be presented, the “Destinations Travel Expert” certification, which offers a specialization for tourism professionals in the promotion of destinations.
